Arriving at Port Adelaide in the 2023 trade period, ruck Jordon Sweet returned to South Australia looking for more opportunity at the senior level. Having benefitted from working alongside All-Australian ruckman Tim English, Sweet spent the early years of his career developing his fitness, skill and ruck craft.
A mobile tall with a mature body, the 25-year-old had an outstanding 2025 campaign complementing the Power’s emerging midfield. Renowned as a workhorse on-field and at training, Sweet has been able to consistently string together strong performances and prove himself as a worthy number one ruck option.
