Yartapuulti will open Sir Doug Nicholls Round this Friday night against Narrm, with the side welcoming back experienced pair Scott Lycett and Darcy Byrne-Jones.Â
Lycett takes Brynn Teakle’s place in the starting 22, with the big-bodied, 30-year-old hoping to challenge the dangerous ruck combination of Max Gawn and Brodie Grundy.Â
Byrne-Jones comes straight back into the side after sitting out Round 9 with illness, while forwards Francis Evans and Ollie Lord have both retained their spots. Â
Todd Marshall has been omitted under concussion protocols and Charlie Dixon has been deemed ineligible for selection as he recovers from a quad strain.Â
Tom Clurey has been named in the emergencies off the back of strong performances in the SANFL over the past month, and Jackson Mead joins him after playing as the tactical substitute last week.Â
Jase Burgoyne and Lachie Jones have also been included in the emergency group, with the tactical substitute to be named from among the emergencies one hour before the first bounce.Â
The Round 10 clash will make history as the first time two clubs going by their Indigenous place names will play against each other. Click here to learn more about what Yartapuulti means.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early at Adelaide Oval to watch the grand final of the Santos Aboriginal Power Cup from 5:40pm, followed by a special cultural performance.Â
