PORT ADELAIDE senior coach Ken Hinkley has hinted the match committee may look to bring in a ruckman to face the Western Bulldogs in Ballarat.
If that is the case, the two ruck options in the SANFL are Billy Frampton and Peter Ladhams.
Frampton had 19 possessions and 19 hit-outs in the Magpies’ 35-point loss to Glenelg in Round 15, while Ladhams had 15 touches and 23 hit-outs.
Other players in the selection mix are exciting youngster Kane Farrell, who was again very impressive with three goals against the Bays.
Jimmy Toumpas who racked up 32 disposals and a goal, and Riley Bonner who played an important role for the Magpies after being omitted from the Power, collecting 18 touches, five marks, and four rebound 50s.
Port’s 26-man squad will be announced on Thursday evening.
