DAVID Rodan’s impressive performance on the MCG in round 4 against Hawthorn – when he was rushed across as a late inclusion – has earned him a recall for Sunday’s game against Collingwood.

Nathan Krakouer is also back after missing the game against Sydney, while Josh Carr and Marlon Motlop have been omitted.

General Manager – Football Operations Peter Rohde said Krakouer will be suited to the wide expanses of the MCG.

“Krak has recovered fully after a week off last week and we think he can make a real impact on the G,” Rohde said.

“He’s essentially squeezed Marlon out, despite the fact we don’t really like dropping guys after one week. We’re confident Marlon will go back to the SANFL and pick up where he left off, and hopefully be back in the Power side before the end of the year.

“Rodan was great last time we played at the G and will come in to replace Josh Carr who didn’t have a huge influence on the game last week.

“Matty Broadbent and Jason Davenport have kept their names in the ring and will be pushing for selection over the next few weeks.”
