In: Edwards, Bode, Aldridge, Samblich

Out: Mead (injury), Farrell, Lienert, Ladhams, Powell-Pepper, Rockliff

FORMER Norwood captain Jace Bode has been named to make his debut for Port Adelaide in Saturday night’s blockbuster SANFL encounter with Glenelg at the Bay.

Bode – who played 195 games for the Redlegs and Sturt and won three premierships on the Parade – is among four inclusions for the ANZAC Round game.

Former Sturt midfielder/forward Sean Samblich could also make a long-awaited Port Adelaide debut. Samblich suffered a season-ending knee injury while playing in a pre-season game in 2020 and after a full recovery has been named to play at the Bay along with Dylan Aldridge and Ben Edwards, who weren’t part of the side which lost to South Adelaide at Noarlunga.

Midfielder Jackson Mead is out of the side having suffered a lacerated spleen during last week’s game.

Kane Farrell, Jarrod Lienert, Peter Ladhams, Sam Powell-Pepper and Tom Rockliff have each been kept out of the team pending AFL selection and if not required will be available to feature at SANFL level.

Port Adelaide will travel to ACH Stadium at Glenelg to tackle the Bays from 6:30pm on Saturday evening.
